Happy Wednesday! {8.7.13} My first day allowed in my classroom :)


Hey friends!! It's Wednesday and I'm just starting to feel better, so I'm back in the blogging game! I have new teacher training all day tomorrow, which stinks because I lose a day in my room :(

BUT- the show must go on! :)

Today is Wednesday which means it's: WHAT I'M LOVIN' WEDNESDAY over at Covered in Glitter and Glue! WOOHOO! Ok- so here's what I'm loving' this week folks!

Messy desk area.. Still working on it!



My room is coming together and I feel like an actual teacher now! It's definitely trying and stressful trying to figure it all out- but I have an AWESOME team to work with! I'm very excited!

My dogs :) My hubby has been playing with our camera taking photos of them this week and they are just too cute for their own good! :) My boy hurt his leg today though :( So, I am trying to nurse him back to health!

Cupcakes- I love cupcakes in any flavor (pretty much)! I have been wanting to make some recently, so this one above ^ may be the winner! ;)

My Silhouette Cameo :) I got this machine on Monday and I am in love! It is so simple to use and it can do so many different things! My favorite part is that I can cut ANY font and ANY clip art on my computer! That means all of those amazingly cute shapes that we all love and download- I CAN CUT THEM OUT! I'm excited, can you tell?!


Thats it for tonight everyone! Wish me luck tomorrow and hopefully it won't be boring!

    I got a silhouette this summer and love it. I haven't tried print and cut yet. Looks like it worked really well for you on the cute owls.

      The print and cut is amazing! It makes decorating so much easier when you want to use some clip art you have! :) I hope you try it and let me know how it works for you! :)

    Your room is looking great! This is such a fun time of the year....decorating, organizing, arranging and rearranging (if you're anything like me..lol). Enjoy this time in your very first classroom...:) Hopefully your training won't be too boring!

      Thanks Vicky! It so exciting and exhausting at the same time! :) I never knew you could feel both at the same time! HAHA! The training was actually phenomenal! So that is a definite plus!

      I absolutely am in love with my Silhouette! I love vinyl! I haven't used any yet, but I thought about using it on canvas for my class rules/guidelines… This is my weekend project ;) Have you used the vinyl yet?!
